Old V/S NEW GENERATION
Nowadays, we are living in a world  that has been changing all the time, so we have to adapt ourselves to the changes. we interact with a lot of people from different generation, such as old generation and new generation. Consequently, there are many differences between our generation and our parent's generation, which are communication, education, and lifestyle.

The first difference between people in the new generation and people in the old  generation is how they communicating. People in the new generation are used to contacting other people almost immediately. For example, if young people want to contact their friends that are lived in different countries, they usually contact their mobile phones. Moreover, people in the new generation are focused more on communicating with their friends, colleagues and families. Teenagers in the new generation spend most of their time chatting with their friends on their mobile phones or chatting online more than doing anything else. On the other hand, people from the older generation accustomed to writing letters to contact other people that are far away. Furthermore, they like deal with other people face to face. All in all, people in the new generation communicate differently than people in the old generation.

Secondly, one of the reasons why people in my generation and my parent's  generation are different is because of education. Most people in my generation tend to have at least a bachelor's degree. In other words, they cannot work until they have an appropriate education. In contrast, people in my parent's generation did not have a lot of opportunities to study. In the past, only rich people would had the opportunities to study. Also, people in old generation focused more on working than studying. Thus, people in new generation have a higher education than people in old generation.
With passing of time, generation change and so their values and thinking i.e. their ideology towards life. In this 21st century we see that the youth are more practical and straight forward in their life unlike the older generations who are more concerned and strict in it. The new generation wish to earn as much money as they could often by unfair means.

Whereas the older were more honest towards their work and money. new generation  is obviously more practical as there has  been introduction to new technologies which were not available to the older generation. Youth has become more enthusiastic on learning the practical way of living. There is an enormous difference in ideologies. They have become more mature and do not hesitate to take some important decisions regarding their life ( which includes family). They are not even afraid to dream as they know that they can practically fulfill it with their efforts and use of technology. There is a huge generation gap separating these two generations and this is there to stay.
The final difference between people that are my age and people that are of old age is lifestyle. People in my generation enjoy easier lives. For example, when some young people graduate from universities, they may not have to work immediately. they can sit around at home and do nothing because they parents are willing to support them. Furthermore, people that are my age are able to make up their minds spontaneously. They do not have to be concerned too much about their future plans. On the other hand, people that are my parent’s age tended to have harder lives and also they were born in a tough time. When they wanted something, they had to work really hard to achieve the things they wanted. To sum up, people that are my age have more comfortable lives than people that are of old generation.

In conclusion, communication, education, and lifestyle are the differences between old generation and our new generation. However, every generation always has something unique that has its own advantages and drawbacks, but the most important thing that every generation gives valuable lessons to the next generation.
